The way back home, after the Christmas holidays, was a bit difficult. The extreme fog caused serious delays and we had to stay in the airport several hours waiting for the weather to improve. But from the flight company we got a nice lunch and people at the airport were kind and as helpful as they could.
The first working week of January I was with a few colleagues in a very intense seminar learning more about online data analysis and perhaps more important, on how to deal with bad/clumsy organizational issues and moments of frustration 😉
We had some cold days with snow and my asthma, that has been getting worse since November, is affecting me more now that it is cold.
January was also the beginning of the Chinese Year: the year of the rooster.
In general, January has been an extremely busy month at work as we had very tight deadlines to set up the new programme we are designing. The coordinators and programme managers have been working very hard but also very efficiently. I feel really proud of the results and of all we have learned in the process.
